SS2011 Trends

From the runway we have seen a spectrum of future trends for summer 2011. I would definitely say that its all about muted camel colours and lux suits. Silky sheer fabrics are also a massive trend, whether you wear them with a lux skirt/short suit or even with a nude leather pencil skirt. Just make sure you invest in this staple blouse.
Body con again is always a reoccurring trend but instead of the tight jersey materials try investing in a soft viscose body con garment. This brings it straight into the 2011 trend and also looks a lot more expensive. From body con its all about clean cut lines, no fringing! Scallop hems are also massive especially if you get them in a pair of denim shorts(topshop ones!).
We saw in Prada that stripe are making another return to the runway. This links in with the nautical themes that always come into summer trends but i would try to avoid the stark orange and yellows used in Prada as they can look tacky especially if you buy of the high street.
