This is a blog with shoots which I've styled, done the make-up, directed and photographed. I have also reviewed Fashion of Today, so take a sneek peek at the Coco Rose.

Sleeping Beauty Premiere

In the streets of Hampsted on a dark and windy night, there layed a delicate beacon of fashion and film in the Everyman Cinema.

It's true to say I have been waiting to watch Julia Leighs directorial debut, Sleeping Beauty since it's reveal in Cannes in May. When I heard there was a question and answer session after the exclusive premiere I jumped to the chance. I instincively called my sister and we whisked our way up to Hampsted where we were stunned at the boutique setting that Everyman Cinema is set.

The film did not disappoint the breath taking cinematography and the detail that went into this film, seemed to fit so gracefully together like a jigsaw puzzle. I loved the haunting beauty that Emma Browning portrayed in film which was mimicked by Rachael Blake and their mundane attitude towards escorting.

Sleeping Beauty is definitely my favourite film this year...or in fact to date. It was a beautiful combination of fairy dusted reality with sharp slices of the dark pleasures of the underground world of desire. Simply Sensuous.

Back in the City

1. After many months of not posting anything I vow to post as much as I can.

Moving into my flat today the empty boxes that are left, in my mind, are a metaphor for my state of life right now. I urge to fill them with knowledge of art, fashion and extra curricular avenues I wouldn't normally venture.

New beginnings mean I need to get my act together and write about my uni experience by documenting my life at this time. London oozes with young blood. The essence of London is routed with the fashionable youth. The day the golden gates of London universirty are open: the fashionista's in training (students) are let lose to the jungle that is London. Sounds like a vicous city but in fact it means the youth aren't fallening into the category, 'seen but not heard'. It exciting, vibrant and overall just fab.

Next post will be up soon promise

Sunday 17 April 2011

17th April, 17c , sunny intervals

Waking up to the sun streaming through, creating beautiful light patterns on my bed sheets i realised how beautiful this Sunday will be. Rolling over my Jack Daniels box (my bedside table) i reached over for my ELLE. Immediately i smelled all the perfume testers and have already decided to invest in Jimmy Choo's new perfume...smells divine. Reading Mark C O' Flaherty's (new favourite writer) article 'The Italian Job' makes me want to pack my Mulberry and fly to Sicily as soon as possible. Unrealistic as it sounds a girl can dream and that's what Sundays are meant for, day dreaming.
